November Kellie Stamps Design Team Projects

The November release from Kellie Stamps is amazing guys!
So many stamp sets!
I made two projects with mine, and this is the second one.

I used my laser printer and the Minc Machine to gold foil the tree from "Grinch Moment" digital stamp set. The "Merry" title is from the digital "Merry Joy" set.

Ah, the gold foil! So easy to do with digital stamps! This is based on the very latest Studio Calico Sketch from the Studio Calico Blog. Using the Lollipop Guild Scrapbook Kit from Studio Calico. Inspired by the lovely Anna Maria Wolniak here .

Love those vellum embellishments from the Lollipop Guild Kit, and just stapled them with the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.

to see all the great sets she released this month!!!

Leigh

Kellie Stamps July 2016 Release

Hello friends!
Time for another new Kellie Stamps Release!

This month, the stamps are perfect for all your indoor and outdoor adventures!

Supplies: Kellie Stamps new for July 2016, "Outdoorsy" and "Therapy", all other supplies from Studio Calico

The diamond shape is from the "Outdoorsy" set, which comes blank and I added the text (color matched to the coral color in the photo in Photoshop). Then added the stars from the "Therapy" set, and they come in a row of five, so I simply repeated the rows in the Layers Panel, in Photoshop. The stars on the photo are the same stars used on the background, just reduced in size and filled in with the same coral color.

You can totally accomplish this with the physical clear stamps from Kellie Stamps as well, if Photoshop isn't your thing!

I do  love the hybrid aspect of the digital stamps, being able to design a Travelers Notebook page and print it out at home with the background all "stamped" is perfect for me!

Applied washi tape at the same angle as the stars, on both pages, then added some fun embellishments and paper from several different Studio Calico Kits (Aug. 2015 Pop Art, and June 2016 Scout) . Printed out journaling in a text box and stitched around before adhering to the page.

Close up: LOVE tying the background to the top layers by repeating the stars! Simple to do with the Kellie Stamps sets!

Thanks for joining me today!

Kellie Stamps June 2016; Santa Barbara Layout

Welcome to my second project with the new releases
for JUNE 2016 FROM KELLIE STAMPS !

Using the Kellie Stamps "Obsessed" new June release, I filled the page in the Silhouette Studio Design Software, just because it lines everything up faster for me, and printed out the background paper on my home printer. Voila! You have your own patterned paper!

Then I layered one of the "Funky Florals" cut files, from The Cut Shoppe, because it reflects the flowers and ceramic tiles on the buildings in Santa Barbara. Placed them in a grid to repeat the shapes found in this beautiful city, and used the positive and negative from the cuts to layer. I hand lettered the title and fussy cut it with detail scissors.

Here you can see the Pink Paislee Fancy Free line by Paige Evans paper and puffy stickers used to create more dimension. LOVE this line!

Stitching around all the floral tiles.

More New Releases from Kellie Stamps, and dude! Planner Stamps!

More new June release items, top is "Slim Jim", and bottom are packs of stickers!!!

Thank you for stopping by today!

May 19th layout using the May "My Fave" clear stamp set and different ink colors to create the text covered stars. Love! Also love that these two had a blast, and were great sports even in the rain! Kellie Stamps Creative Team April 2016 Scrapbook Page Two

For the second April 2016 Kellie Stamps project I created this scrapbook page,
"You Rock".
I can't even begin to describe how much I love my kids,
my heart just warms when I look at them!
Thought maybe the "Man I Love You" stamps from the RAD set
covering the background was a good place to start!

Supplies: Studio Calico Lollipop Guild Scrapbook Kit, Kellie Stamps digital "Rad" set, and Silhouette Cameo to cut the title.

I simply added the digital stamps to my page in the Silhouette Studio software, hit fill page and printed the 8.5x11 background on my home printer.

Close up to show the stitching on the triangle pieces, and details.

Thank you for joining me here today!

Kellie Stamps March Release Project Two

Kellie Stamps has extended the pre-order sale on the March sets
to midnight of the 19th, Australian time!
These sets are so versatile for pocket or scrapbook layouts!

Supllies: Kellie Stamps (Am Pm set),  Shimelle (green chipboard sticker, green patterned paper), Studio Calico ( dot and gold PP, washi tapes) , Heidi Swapp ( Minc foils, machine, die cuts, floral PP and "Lovely" die), Silhouette Cameo ( My Favorite , and Love cut files made from Kellie Stamps digital stamps)

Simply bring your digital stamps into the Silhouette Studio program, and trace the outer edge of your chosen stamp. Here, you can see I used the fill page feature then grouped them and rotated them to where I wanted.

Close up of the Heidi Swapp Minc Foiled Die Cuts, and the idea for washi and PP strips on the circles came from this Stephanie Bryan You-Tube Video! What a great page she made in that video!

Those two hot pink circle die cuts are foiled with the Heidi Swapp Minc machine as well, it's just not easy to photograph the reflective surface, but they are GORG! Got the idea for the page layout from the Shimelle Weekly Challenges at Shimelle.com, and this week's challenge is to use letters on a scrapbook page.

Thanks for stopping by today;
and hop over to Kellie Stamps for some great stamps to enhance your pocket pages and scrapbook layouts!

Kellie Stamps March 2016 New Release

March 5th is new release day at Kellie Stamps!
If you purchase both sets "AM PM' and "Go See Do",
you GET THE MINI WEEK CIRCLE SET FREE!
Win, win!

Made this with the digital set "AM, PM", love that with digital stamps you can simply bring them into your electronic cutting machine and turn them into a cut file! So versatile! Adding the sentiments inside the circles in this cut file from the Silhouette Store, gives you a cut file that says what you want, and I used the freebie, "Week Circle" set for the Tuesday at the top left.

Here, you can see how well the stamps cut, even reduced in size and placed inside the circles, using the weld feature inside the Silhouette Studio Software!

Used two pieces of white card stock so that I could raise the cut file up on dimensional foam, and leave some of the circles empty.

Can't get over how cute the Homebodies Papercrafting kit from Feed Your Craft is! Perfect for any story you wish to tell about your home, and what happens inside your home!  Even the black and white polka dot tissue paper they pack the kit with is perfect!! Used it behind some of the circles.

The "Homebodies Papercrafting Kit" and flair sets from Feed Your Craft
are adorable!

Also BIG NEWS- Kellie is offering clear stamps again! YAY!

10 Creative Ways To Use Digital Stamps: Blog Series Post Two

Hello crafty friends!
Today is the second post in my new blog series,
10 Creative Ways To Use Digital Stamps
featuring #KellieStamps.

IDEA #2: CUT IT!
Today we will be looking at using your digital stamps with an electronic die cutting machine.
I happen to own the Silhouette Cameo, so it's super easy to convert your SVG, PNG, or Studio files into a cut file using the TRACE feature on a Silhouette.

Here you can see the words at the top left corner from the Kellie Stamps Digital set
called "I am, You are, We are" and aren't the words amazing! (Dude, love that these are only $5) I love the font she uses, and it looks great paired with a script or handwritten font! I started in May of this year, using 6x8 blank pages in my Project Life Mini albums, and fell in love with the editorial style of the rectangle. So I am continuing to grow and adapt to this new way of designing! I LOVE it, and it seems so much easier for me!

Here are the steps to cut the digital stamps on a Silhouette (You can also search on You-tube for video tutorials on how to use digital files with your Silhouette) I learned a lot from Ashley Horton!
1) OPEN Silhouette Studio® Design Software. You can either double click on the digital stamp you have downloaded to your computer to put it on your Silhouette Workspace OR at the top left go to FILE>IMPORT>IMPORT TO LIBRARY
2) Move and size your digital stamp to suit your project ( the ones above are about an inch high )
3) Click at the top right in your Silhouette Workspace the TRACE icon ( it look like a butterfly in a blue square )
4) Click Select Trace area
5) Now move your cursor to make a rectangle around your digital stamp you want to turn into a cut file AND THEN UNCHECK HIGH PASS FILTER
6) Click  TRACE
7) Move the original digital stamp off your workspace by dragging it with the cursor.
8) Send to Silhouette to cut
9) Make something pretty with your digital stamp cut files! :)

Close up of the cut file, and note how I stitched through it with a sewing machine. Love the texture it adds when working with a neutral palette.

Ha! Love this funny girl!
