Faith Inspired Project Life by Artful Leigh

Hello 2013! I am using the Seafoam Core Kit,  and LOVING how easily it coordinates with clothing and home decor for this year!! I can't get enough gray- oh how I love this color.
I have three weeks of January done already, and it only took me two hours on Sunday to print, journal, and complete five pages. Love this system by Becky Higgins!
Since I am doing faith inspired Project Life, I will have prayer and praise reports for each week. This is what is important to my family, and the lessons, evidence of answered prayer,  and praise for how God is working in our lives is an important legacy to leave my children and posterity.

My First Published Cards Are Live Now!!

Northridge Publishing has released the new CREATE: Stamping issue, and I have two cards in this publication. The first one is under the section Mists, Markers, and Paint, and the other is in the Fabric and Ribbon section. I can hardly believe it is real!! I am so hoping that they send me two books for each card published, so I can send one to my Mom, and both my sisters. My littlest sister said I am supposed to frame my first publication, and I am not sure I can cut it apart (these books are so absolutely lovely)-- so maybe I will take a picture of it when it hits the news stands. I am going to Barnes and Noble tomorrow to see if it is there. Totes!!
 Thank you and God bless!

Bathroom Make-over For My Daughter

The before photo: ouch,  kind of hurts the eyes!  Now my daughter has a clean and serene space that coordinates with her room makeover in burlap, gray, and white. The room looks larger now too. Win, Win! My daughter and I went to Ace Hardware together to pick the paint, and we removed the wallpaper border that had been disgracing the walls for about 13 years.  First day took about 11 hours, and the second day took 14 hours. I gave her the big reveal at 11:30pm last night and the smile on her face, TOTALLY worth all the sore muscles and backache! Love you Daughter!

PAINT: Benjamin Moore- Pebble Beach
TOWELS, RUG: Target
BASKETS: Home Goods
TOWEL ROD: Ikea
SHOWER CURTAIN: Target
SEQUIN TRIM: JOann Craft Store
FLOWERS ON TOWELS: HOuse of Three(PArisian Anthology)
TINS: Michael's
FRAME: Home Goods

I used my sewing machine to attach the sequin trim onto the shower curtain, and will be adding burlap below the ruched portion. But that will have to wait for a trip to Joann's ! Oh I forgot I have saved a set of Paris style knobs for the cabinet doors.  Woman with power tools incoming:)

I used my corded drill/driver to make quick work of the towel bar installation.

Thanks for looking!
